Officials in Jackson County honored the memory of the McKee police chief who died last month.
April 18th will now be known as "Arthur Adams Day" in the city of McKee, Kentucky.
Adams was known as "the candy cop," so many went out to pass out candy to children in his memory. Adams served as the police chief for five years, though he had been in law enforcement for several decades.
He was 68 years old.
