The City of Corbin is filing suit against Knox County.
The Times Tribune reports the Corbin City Commission voted Friday to hire an attorney to fight Knox County on an occupational tax.
The lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of a single section of a bill, Senate Floor Amendment One, which was passed during this years General Assembly which allows folks who live in both Corbin City limits and Knox County to be subjected to two occupational taxes.
