CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - "America's Got Talent" winner Landau Murphy is so popular in his home state that his concerts are sellouts.
The Clay Center in Charleston added a third date to Murphy's concert schedule after tickets to the first two shows sold out in less than an hour Tuesday.
Tickets for the third show, set for Dec. 21, sold out in about an hour and 15 minutes Thursday.
Two December shows at the Smoot Theatre in Parkersburg also are sold out. Director Felice Jorgeson tells the Parkersburg News and Sentinel (http://bit.ly/s0UKk7 ) it's the first time two shows for the same performer have been sellouts.
Murphy is a native of Logan who won the NBC talent show and a $1 million prize in September.
