Cleanup continues at Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Clean-up crews continue to access the damage done by Thursday night's deadly storms in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Cades Cove reopened to visitors on Saturday, after around 40 workers spent the day clearing away debris and opening up roadways.

A spokesperson for the park says significant progress has been made in removing hundreds of down trees.

It appears several trails received significant damage and part of the Chestnut Top Trail may have been destroyed.

Some roads remain part of Little River Road, Parson's Branch Road, and the Abrams Creek access road.
