Some people living in Perry County are suing a coal company because of flooding damage.
The Hazard Herald reports several people from the Lost Creek community are suing the Frasure Creek Mining Company. Their houses sustained damage during the flood on June 20th.
The lawsuit claims the coal company failed to meet approved plans for drainage systems at its Frasure Creek #8 site.
