Coca-Cola plant expanding in Middlesboro

MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WYMT/Middlesboro Daily News) - In the midst of layoffs in several sectors, one business is expanding.

The Middlesboro Daily News reports officials with the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Middlesboro say they will add a 24,000 square foot addition.

The new space will be used as a warehouse for the company.

Several new positions were added for construction, but they are already filled.

Officials hope construction will be completed this summer.
