It's a deck of cards that police say could lead to solving a cold case.

State police are in the process of handing out cards to inmates that have pictures of the missing and killed.

More than 300 inmates call the Bell County Forestry Camp state prison home.
While these walls cannot talk ...police hope inmates will.. once they pass out these cards.

"We are hoping when they are distributed... one of the inmates might see or know something about these cases," said Walt Meachum with Kentucky State Police.

52 cards... means 52 faces...52 unsolved cases.
Correctional facilities all over the state will have these cards.
Workers believe inmates will talk.

"They may or may not know about something from their hometown. Hopefully with that network they will come forth with some info," said Greg Howard with Bell County Forestry.

Prison workers say inmates can talk in private.
It can be difficult to get convicts to open up ...workers say they have guidelines to make inmates feel comfortable and ensure their safety is not at risk.
