Most folks do not like to brave the cold, but some actually look forward to it because it's their busy season.
A snowy backyard is the perfect workspace for some.
"I'm hooking this outside condensing unit up to the air handler with the copper lines," said worker Chris Calhan.
"We've been pretty busy on service, installs, picking up, change outs," said Darrell Pennington with Appalachian Heating and Cooling.
As the temperatures have dropped, business for Appalachian Heating and Cooling has picked up steam.
"A lot of people are finding they have problems they did not know they had," said Pennington.
Pennington said now is the time to make sure your heater is working.
"The longer you let it go, sometimes the more problems you have out of it. If you have a seal system problem sometimes it will get a lot of moisture," said Pennington.
He said they will stay out in the cold to make sure you stay warm.
