LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for several suspects involved in a robbery at an apartment complex off Angliana around 8:30 this evening. According to investigators, a college student and his friend were robbed at gun point in their top floor apartment.

After the initial investigation, police say a woman knocked on the apartment door, and convinced the two men inside to open up. After they opened their, police say two other men forced their way inside, and one of them had a silver handgun. At this time police think the woman was used as a decoy in this robbery.

The mother of one of the victims spoke with us off camera and she says her son was not inside at the time of the crime, but his roommate told them the place was ransacked and their phones stolen. Police say that includes a brand new iPhone 5.

After the robbery, officers say the suspects then left in an older model Mercedes SUV. Police say there was a delay of 25 minutes between when the robbery happened and when the call was made.

Neither the victims nor the apartment complex wanted to comment at this time. No arrests have been made.
