A bill aimed at preventing combustible dust explosions was in the House Thursday.

The House voted to block the new federal rules.

They were designed to prevent blasts like the one in Corbin nine years ago at CTA Acoustics that killed nine and injured 37.

The U.S. Chemical Safety Board concluded the dust was the source of the explosion.
