FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Republican agriculture commissioner
candidate James Comer has filed a report with the Kentucky Registry
of Election Finance showing he has raised $650,000 so far,
including more than $400,000 since July.
Comer said he filed his latest campaign finance report on Monday
afternoon. He said that report shows he still has more than
$400,000 in the bank heading into the final four weeks of the
campaign.
Comer faces Democrat Robert Farmer in the Nov. 8 general
election. Farmer hasn't yet filed his campaign finance report.
All of Kentucky's candidates for statewide office have to
financial disclosure reports by Wednesday evening. Those reports
list the names of financial donors and also provide details about
expenditures.
