Communites closer to receiving city water

Some folks in Perry County are one step closer to get city water.

The Hazard Herald reports people living in the county's south end communities of Beehive Road, Primrose Lane and Beetree Fork will all soon have city water.

Construction could begin as early as the fall for the northern communities of Ladder Branch, Pomp Hollow and Stable Fork.

When more money is made available this summer the fiscal court did promise to include Lewis Hollow.
