Another band of snow will move into the region tonight. That plus temperatures into the lower 20s will create slick spots across the mountains. Additional accumulation of up to a half inch is possible in the valleys, while up to an additional inch is possible on the ridges. Some folks in Perry County are one step closer to get city water.
The Hazard Herald reports people living in the county's south end communities of Beehive Road, Primrose Lane and Beetree Fork will all soon have city water.
Construction could begin as early as the fall for the northern communities of Ladder Branch, Pomp Hollow and Stable Fork.
When more money is made available this summer the fiscal court did promise to include Lewis Hollow.
