CAPITAL CITY, Ky. (WYMT) - A company announced plans to build a coal-to-liquid fuel plant in western Kentucky.
The Hazard Herald reports the U.S. Fuel Corporation plans to build additional sites where coal is readily available.
Officials for the company say the plant will convert coal to 'non-petroleum based alternative fuels.'
The company noted their plants are based on proven scalable technology and will be environmentally friendly.
