Competency hearing held

A competency hearing was held Thursday in the case of a Magoffin County man accused of shooting three people at a store earlier this year.

44-year-old Colonel Bolen was declared competent to stand trial.

He is accused of opening fire in the J & J General Store parking lot in February hitting one woman and two men.

They survived the shooting.
