HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT)- Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare will continue to undergo construction on a new addition to the hospital.
The Hazard Herald reports Hazard ARH's three story, 98 thousand square foot expansion began in April of 2012. ARH Director of Corporate Projects Trena Hall says the detours patients and visitors will have to take may be frustrating, but it will be well worth the wait once the addition is completed. Hospital officials say they expect the construction to be completed by spring of 2014.
