Convicted sex offender is indicted

A convicted sex offender accused of attacking two 12 year old girls in Johnson County is indicted.

Clayton Clouse, Jr. is charged with rape, sodomy, assault, and being a persistent felony offender.

Paintsville Police say Clouse approached the girls on Sixth street and took them to an area in the woods called "Hanging Rock" where he allegedly attacked them.

Officials say the indictment keeps Clouse in jail.

No court dates are set yet.
