US Senate hopeful Jack Conway campaigns in the Mountains, and says he is looking forward to his next debate with Rand Paul.

"In 10 days, with your help, we're gonna put Kentucky first and we're gonna win this election," said Conway.

Dozens packed the old district court building in London to greet US Senate hopeful Jack Conway.

"This is a fight for the future of Kentucky. I'm out here fighting for seniors, for students, for coal miners, for veterans. I'm fighting for the people who need someone to step up and fight for them," said Conway.

Conway told supporters that he is the better candidate because he understands what Kentucky needs to move forward.

"For Rand Paul to say drugs aren't a pressing issue, that's a real problem. For Rand Paul to say we need a two thousand deductible for medicare, that's a real problem," said Conway.

Conway says he does not regret an ad his campaign released concerning Paul's alleged involvement with a secret society during his college days.

"I wasn't questioning his religious beliefs, and I wasn't questioning his faith. I was questioning his actions. He joined an organization at Baylor that was known for mocking people with faith, and we just wanted to know why he did it," said Conway.

"You don't just do that. You don't just make up stuff that you attack someone's character, Jack. I mean you really should be ashamed of yourself," said Rand Paul, Republican candidate for US Senate.

In response to the ad, Paul said he may not attend Monday night's debate on KET. But now says he will be there.

"While I remain disappointed that my opponent continues these personal attacks, I do respect the voters of Kentucky and I have made the decision to go through with the debate next Monday," said Paul.

Conway says he is looking forward to debating Paul one more time before the election.

Conway also stopped in Richmond and Somerset, and ended his day in Pineville for the Bell County vs. McCreary Central football game.
