Conway, Grimes join forces to fight election fraud

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - The state's top prosecutor and the chief elections official will join forces to fight fraud in the May 22 presidential primary election.

Attorney General Jack Conway and Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes met in Frankfort Tuesday with the Kentucky Election Integrity Task Force to prepare for the approaching primary.

Conway and Grimes called on voters to report any suspicious activity on Election Day by calling (800) 328-8683.

That line is staffed throughout the year during normal business hours and on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. EDT.

In the last presidential primary election in 2008, the line received 59 calls.
