Imagine trying to make an important phone call and realizing you have no telephone line That is what many people have experienced lately in Perry county. Now -- Windstream is fighting back.

Operations Manager Eddie Tiller talked about the hefty reward they are offering. " It's a ten thousand dollar reward ... for any information leading to the arrest or conviction of anyone stealing copper cable."

But his concern is not only for the business- it is also for the safety and well being of the community. " In an emergency they couldn't call 9-1-1. Everyone doesn't have a cell phone. It's putting the people at risk-- it really is."

Other large companies like Sykes have taken a direct hit because of this as well.
