Copper theft strikes in Perry County

Posted: Thu 6:46 PM, May 24, 2012

One recycling center in Perry County has never had a problem with copper thefts until Wednesday night!

Kentucky State Police say they received a call that scrap metal, copper and radiators were stolen from the dixie recycling center in Wabako late Wednesday night.

Police say that even though copper thefts are relatively common the location of this one makes it unique.

If you have any information you should call Kentucky State Police.
