The City of Corbin has a new city manager.
Mayor Willard McBurney made the announcement Wednesday night.
The city hired Michael Phillips.
Phillips is from Greenville, South Carolina.
He has worked as an administrator for cities and counties in Georgia and South Carolina.
Mayor McBurney tells Mountain News Phillips first day on the job will be Tuesday.
