Coroner: Kentucky man falls in industrial dryer, dies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A deputy coroner says a 55-year-old
Louisville man has died from injuries suffered when he fell into a
running industrial dryer.
Jefferson County deputy coroner Sam Weakley says Kevin Burgess, who serviced dryers for Cintas, apparently fell into the dryer
while trying to dislodge something that had gotten stuck. Weakley
told The Courier-Journal that Burgess died of extensive blunt-force
injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Weakley says a co-worker found Burgess at about 4:45 a.m. Friday
inside the dryer.
Cintas provides uniforms and other apparel for area businesses,
among other services.
