PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Pike County Judge Executive Wayne T. Rutherford is calling on state officials to provide an earthquake exercise in eastern Kentucky.
Rutherford says he asked for a similar measure from the Director of Kentucky Emergency Management General last year after tremors from a 5.9 quake were felt in Pikeville.
However, Rutherford says he never received a response.
