Couple arrested on drug charges in Mingo County, W.Va.

MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WYMT/WSAZ) - A couple is starting the weekend off in jail after police say they were busted trying to sell drugs.

Michael May, 56, and Marguerita May, 55, are from Beverly, Ohio.

West Virginia State Police stopped the couple in Mingo County, W.Va. Where troopers found 257 oxycodone pills in their vehicle.

They were arrested Friday, which also happens to be Michael May's birthday.

Troopers say the couple was trying to sell the drugs in Mingo and Logan Counties.

Both remain in the Southwestern Regional Jail. Michael's bond has not yet been set. However, Marguerita's bond has been set at $20,000.
