Couple charged after allegedly leaving child outside in the cold

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Police have charged a Pike County couple for allegedly leaving their infant out in the cold.

Melanie and John Robinette face child endangerment charges after the incident on Smith Bottom in Pikeville.

The Appalachian News-Express reports that state police found the child after receiving a report about a baby outside, crying, and alone for more than an hour.
