WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Couple is accused of breaking into church

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A southern Kentucky couple is accused of breaking into the same church twice in the last two weeks.

Williamsburg Police say the pair first hit the First Deliverance Church on Hill Street November 12th, then broke in again over the weekend.

Investigators arrested 35-year old Karen Dople and 27-year old Mark Wyatt.

Both are charged with two counts of burglary.

In both crimes, police say the two stole music equipment.

Police have recovered the property.
