LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A Laurel County couple will spend one year in prison after pleading guilty to wanton endangerment earlier this year.
Rachel and Robert Smallwood were arrested in May for leaving an eight-month-old child alone in a hot car for about 20 minutes.
The two pleaded guilty to wanton endangerment charges.
Criminal abuse charges were dismissed.
