Court date set for two men accused in Harlan County hate crime

We now know when two men charged in a Harlan County hate crime will go to court.

Officials in the U.S. Attorneys office say David and Anthony Jenkins have a hearing on Monday afternoon at the London federal courthouse.

Police say the men kidnapped a gay man in Harlan County and assaulted him at a Southeastern Kentucky park because of his sexual orientation.

Both have pleaded not guilty.
