Since family members reported Sonsaray Warford and Charles Walker missing back in June, 2010, investigators have been trying to uncover what led to the couple's disappearance.

The arrests of Daniel Keene and Matthew Denholm and the release of dozens of pages of court documents reveal a complicated background involving a drug ring, torture, and contract killings.

Affidavits describe Ja'Kolbe Chenault, a man currently in federal custody, as the leader of a cocaine trafficking organization, who believed that Charles Walker stole $180,000 from him. Witnesses say Chenault ordered Walker's murder.

The documents describe an associate of Chenault's hiring Keene and Denholm to carry out the murder. Witnesses say Warford was never a target, but was kidnapped along with Walker because she was with him at the time.

Standup: Investigators say Keene told them that after the kidnapping, he and Denholm drove the victims to a field near this stretch of Tates Creek Road in Richmond and that Keene began digging a grave while Denholm tortured and executed the victims.

The documents describe the suspects recording the murders as proof to receive payment. One witness who claimed to have heard the recordings said he could hear Warford screaming and praying for God to save her followed by Denholm telling her that God did not exist.
