Updated: Thu 6:30 PM, Jan 31, 2013

PRATER CREEK, Ky. (WYMT) - In Floyd County crews have been working since Wednesday night to clear a mudslide on KY 1426.

Officials closed the road Thursday afternoon to clean up the damage.

They re-opened it about 5:00, but say they will close it again Friday morning around 8:00 to finish clean-up.

Highway officials say no homes were damaged and for the most part the slide is contained.

The road is expected to re-open by Friday night.
