Crews busy with overnight rescues

SLICK ROCK CREEK & CHAVIES, Ky. (WYMT) - Floyd County Rescue Squad members tell us they rescued three people from flood waters early Tuesday morning.

The woman and two children were rescued from their home, authorities said.

Dispatchers in Perry County tell Mountain News one person was also rescued from a home on Haddock Fork Road in the Chavies overnight. We are told it was flooding related but details are limited right now.

WYMT has a reporter on the scene, and will have updates on-air and online as more information becomes available on this and other flood rescues and damage.
