As election day gets closer, more and more candidates are airing TV ads.
Just this week, Republican KC Crosbie began running ads for her candidacy for state treasurer.
Currently she serves as a city councilwoman in Lexington.
She says the current treasurer's office is not run efficiently, and the current treasurer has not balanced the state's check book.
"I've never been cited for not doing my job. In fact I have been elected overwhelmingly three times because I do do my job. And what we see from our current treasurer is that he doesn't do his job," said Crosbie.
Crosbie is currently on a bus tour around the state with other Republican candidates trying to gain votes as election day gets closer.
