People in Cumberland without water want answers and running water soon.
It is not the first time this has happened, and some say the old equipment at the water plant is to blame.
The reasoning for why these people are without water is about as clear as the water they are getting from the stream nearby.
The tank above the apartment complex is dry much like the mayor's explanation.
"The people are without water. We are working on it trying to get it repaired and fixed, so that is my comment," said Cumberland Mayor Carl Hatfield.
What is wrong with the equipment is unknown, and the mayor walked away before he explained what the problem is.
When I talked to people living at the Cumberland Manor Apartments, their frustration only increased.
"Everything needs water and we just don't have water. It's crap!" said Ashley Barnes, who is without water.
"I'm not angry. I'm disappointed in the city of Cumberland," said Lonnie Bowling, who is angry about the situation.
Now fetching water and/or buying bottled water is the norm.
People living here without water say getting water from the creek multiple times a day is becoming a nuisance they should not have to deal with.
"I can't make the littlest one's bottles because she's still on formula. I can't find nothing to cook that doesn't need water," said Barnes.
It is all not good enough for these families needing answers and water soon.
When these people will have water again is unknown.
