Dairy Queen Stores across America work together to help raise funds for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and we found one area store participating
The Dairy Queen of Hazard is taking part in the annual Miracle Treat Day.
Customers who buy a Blizzard will help raise money for the UK Children’s Hopsital in Lexington.
“We are proud to announce we raised an excess of five million dollars for Childrens Miracle Network and looking forward to beating that number this year in spite of a pretty tough economy,” Steven Booth said.
Booth says for every Blizzard bought Thursday one dollar will be donated and sent directly to the UK Children’s Hospital.
