Date still not set for Beshear's "State of the Commonwealth" address

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WYMT) - Governor Steve Beshear will deliver the annual State of the Commonwealth address early next month, but his office says the exact date has not yet been set.

The governor is expected to highlight his legislative priorities in the speech, delivered to a joint session of the legislature.

Lawmakers will arrive in Frankfort next week to start the session, but the real business won't begin until early February.
