A date has now been set for a special election to replace State Representative Dewayne Bunch, who resigned last month.

Governor Beshear called the election for December 20th.

Bunch is recovering from a brain injury after trying to break up a fight at Whitley County High School where he taught.

The winner will take office immediately.
