Severe weather looks likely on Saturday afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 2 p.m. Saturday and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. The area at the greatest risk for severe weather in eastern Kentucky is in the Cumberland Valley, near the I-75 corridor. Keep it locked here for updates.
Traffic is moving again on I-64 after a deadly crash.
The crash happened just before 8:00 near mile marker 132 Sunday night. Kentucky State Police say it appears the driver of one car hydroplaned on the wet roads, crossed the median and collided head-on with the semi.
The car's driver, Michael Cornett of Lexington, died. Two passengers in the car, Leslie and Kevin Cornett were seriously hurt. The driver of the semi wasn't injured.
