A man is dead after an accident at a Martin County coal mine.
The coroner says it happened at Martin County Coal's Voyager Number 7 mine in Pilgrim.
He says the miner was pinned in between a piece of machinery and a steel I-beam and suffered a head injury.
The miner, who's in his 20's and was from Magoffin County, was pronounced dead around 8:45pm Monday night.
His name has not been released yet.
