Sheriff's deputies say they've stopped a multi-county theft ring that targeted people's homes.
The Whitley County Sheriff arrested 28-year-old Larry Shelton and another man Tuesday for receiving stolen property.
They say the men were breaking into homes in Whitley, Laurel, Knox, and Clark Counties to steal money and jewelry.
In all, deputies say more than 20 homes were hit in the past two months.
