WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Records show a brutality claim against some Whitley County Sheriff's Deputies was settled for $140,000.

Homeowner surveillance video of the alleged incident used in the case has just been released.

Police say on May 5th, 53-year-old Delbert Bray did not stop at a roadblock and tried to get away.

Bray's family claims once he was caught, he was beaten and injured.

Bray has since died from an unrelated illness.

The Kentucky Association of Counties (KACO) settled the case with his family before a lawsuit was even filed.

Sheriff Colan Harrell told WYMT earlier this month he disagrees with the settlement and says his deputies told him Bray was injured in a fall on the gravel.
