A disagreement between the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department and the county Election Commission could create huge issues for next week's election.
You may remember the department told the Election Commission it would have to pay a fee to use fire stations as polling places.
In a hearing last week, a circuit judge ruled the department could not charge the commission.
But we've learned the fire department has filed paperwork to challenge that ruling.
If the issue is not worked out, we're told it could affect more than 3,000 voters county-wide.
