MOREHEAD, Ky.---Morehead State University’s Transition Center in the Office of Enrollment Services has announced its spring 2012 Diversity Day will be Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registration and continental breakfast will be held in the Button Drill Room beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Welcome Session is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. with a special performance by MSU’s Black Gospel Ensemble (BGE).
“Diversity Day gives you and your family the opportunity to explore our beautiful campus as we highlight academic programs, student services and campus involvement opportunities,” said Tashanna R. Rucker, senior enrollment services counselor for
diversity. “Throughout the day, you will hear minority student leaders’ testimonies, explore University facilities, speak with University faculty and staff, and discover your unlimited opportunities as a future MSU Eagle.
“Diversity Day also will expose you and your family to MSU’s commitment to recruiting and retaining a diverse and unique student population.”
Seniors applying for admission during the program will automatically receive an application fee waiver.
Bus transportation will be provided for students and their guests residing in Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati.
