Downtown Lexington pep rally gets fans fired up for UK, U of L game

People partied in the streets of downtown Lexington Friday night to get ready for Saturday's big UK-Louisville game. Part of Limestone was shut down for the celebration. The festivities started with a pep rally. The UK dance team, cheerleading squad and band were there to get people game day ready. Former UK quarterback Andre Woodson was also on hand to talk to the crowd and share his game day predictions.

"Beautiful night! And all the support, it's great to see Andre Woodson, and having the cheerleaders and dance team here it's very fun," says Carol Behr with Kennedy Book Store.

A portion of the proceeds from Friday night's event will go the Lexington Charity Club. The club will donate the money to Kentucky Children's Hospital.
