WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WYMT/WSAZ) - A man has died after crashing into a building along U.S. 52 near Kermit.
The crash happened Monday night about 9:30 near the Mingo/Wayne county line.
Trooper A.M. Whittington, with West Virginia State Police, tells WSAZ.com that Dennie Carver, 53, of Alkol, W.Va., hit a guard rail and went through a yard before hitting a building.
Carver was taken to a Williamson hospital, where Trooper Whittington says he died early Tuesday morning.
No word yet on what caused the crash.
