RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Eastern Kentucky University has announced schedules for open events during the next couple of weeks to introduce finalists in the search for the school's new president.
The events include a forum and reception with each candidate. The forums will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT at Brock Auditorium and the reception from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the EKU Center for the Arts each day.
Southern Utah University President Michael T. Benson's events are Monday, Lamar University Vice President for Finance and Operations Gregg Lassen's are Wednesday and College of Charleston Business School Dean Alan T. Shao will attend open events on April 2.

Doug Whitlock will retire this summer as president of the 15,300-student university.
