LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Police say an emergency room doctor in Eastern Kentucky is responsible for injuring two people in a wrong-way crash.

Officers arrested 39 year old Briana Boyd following the crash around 5 Monday morning in Lexington.

Court documents show a police officer saw Boyd going the wrong way down a street with no lights on seconds before she slammed into a truck.

The two people in the truck have non-life threatening injuries.

Doctor Boyd is charged with assault and DUI.

We've learned she's been working as an ER doctor at a Knox County hospital.
