LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A London physician who worked in Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee is admitting he evaded hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal income taxes.
64 year old Werner Grentz pleaded guilty Thursday to tax evasion.
As part of his plea, Grentz agreed to pay the IRS around $900,000.
He admitted that he failed to pay roughly that amount in taxes since 1999.
Grentz will be sentenced in May.
