Eastern Kentucky native appears on CBS hit show

You might have caught a glimpse of an Eastern Kentucky native on national television Monday night.

"Under the Dome" has been a huge summer hit on CBS.

In the "Manhunt" episode, Johnson County native Robert Hazlette appeared early in the show, which was shot in April in North Carolina, where Hazlette is living.

He says it was his debut on network TV.

“I would have never guessed that show would have such a wide following because Steven King, there is such a particular group of people that love him and the others are like eh... but this show has really gotten everybody involved,” Hazlette said.

Hazlette has worked previously at Jenny Wiley Theatre and helped start the Main Street Players Theatre Company in Paintsville.

The 22-year old actor just signed with a talent agency and is working on landing more television and film roles.
