PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Eastern Kentucky PRIDE will be celebrating April as spring clean-up month.
Officials say it is a chance for folks to get out and improve their communities.Coordinators say an easy way for everyone to get involved, is the event being held on April 6th, at the boat dock behind Texas Roadhouse in Pikeville where they will be collecting paper to be recycled and conducting a river bank clean-up.
City of Pikeville PRIDE coordinator Sean Cochran says, "Anyone who wants to help, we would love to have you. Come on out, we will have trash bags and gloves and so if you want to come out and jump in and help us out, that'd be great!"
