It was a joyous homecoming for dozens of soldiers in Southern and Southeastern Kentucky Friday.

Soldiers who have spent months serving in Iraq arrived home, helping to mark the end of the long conflict.

Family and friends held celebration services and homecoming at Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Somerset and the Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro.

More soldiers will return home on Saturday in London.
